City of Lahti

The Fastroi Real-Time Care system for home care was deployed in Lahti during 2010, and it is currently being used by almost 300 home care nurses and they have 1000 customers. Fastroi Real-Time Care has proven to be an outstanding solution for planning customer visits, logging care work and creating visits statistics.

In 2014, the home care unit of the City of Lahti was awarded a prize for its Fastroi Real-Time Care™ deployment project. The prize was part of the city’s competition for innovations to improve working life.

Fastroi Real-Time Care™ is a superb tool for ERP in home care services, documenting the working time of care visits and improving invoicing and statistics processes. It saves time in the daily direction of work and logging of care work, and also improves the flow of information in internal communications.

The City of Lahti currently uses Pegasos as its patient information system. Fastroi Real-Time Care home care is integrated into the Pegasos system in a way that makes it possible to use Fastroi Real-Time Care to direct and monitor home care services, and also collect statistical data. Data is transferred in both directions between the systems. Furthermore, there are two other systems integrated into the solution: the electronic door opening system Mohinet SecLoc and the work shift planning system MD Titania.

Home care visits and associated instructions created in the Pegasos system are forwarded by Fastroi Real-Time Care to nurses’ mobile phones. The visits of the day are displayed as a work list in nurses’ mobile phones. When visiting a customer, nurses can record the administered care and elapsed time in real-time with their mobile phone and electronic locking system. Nurses can also search for customer data and write new entries into it using their phone.
